Wendy Anett is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, where she graduated with honors in Graphic Design from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac and had the opportunity to continue her studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Wendy has always felt a deep passion for art, which has led her to explore different disciplines such as fashion design, jewelry, decoration, etc; until she found in painting a unique way to express herself. Wendy’s style is influenced by impressionism and realism, and she enjoys playing with dark backgrounds and vibrant colors to create works that convey emotions and tell stories. Her stay in Italy marked a turning point in her creative process. The light, the landscapes, and the cultural richness she experienced there inspired her to experiment with a brighter and more luminous palette. This change broadened her horizons and allowed her to see new possibilities within her art, which continues to evolve every day. In each painting, she shares a part of her story, hoping that those who contemplate it may also discover their own.
