Beth Chalk
Beth Chalk, an engineer turned visual artist, has been painting since 2007. Beth’s art is about exploration and personal growth. Her works are largely abstract in nature with a personal story or specific emotion behind each piece. Beth transitioned into art by studying oils in the studio of Chris di Domizio for nearly three years. Since that time, Beth has been expressing primarily in encaustics, exploring the limits and available techniques of that medium. Beth’s art is meant to evoke an immediate emotional response from the viewer, often employing heavy texture or vivid colors in her pieces. Most of Beth’s paintings have an overlaying natural or organic theme, and the outdoors is a constant source of inspiration for her.
